Milford is again in the mandatory evacuation zone. Three weeks ago, a large spot fire had crossed the highway about 15 miles to the north, prompting evacuations of Milford and Janesville. The fire was kept to a thin strip of agricultural land on the highway’s east side near Herlong Junction. Please adhere to all closures indicated by CLOSED signs within the park.
